Progress

The sun started coming out, this makes me happy. I've a week in Bali coming up and a possible work promotion, so good things are coming round for 2019 at last.

My goal is to work remotely so I can relocate to live nearer my partner and take a big strain off things, and this new role looks suited to that.

I'm currently putting in hard graft on a project that is getting me in good places, hence the inactivity. More updates soon but the general vibe is satisfying and positive! :)

Checking In

Busy week that hasn't given me much time to think about a post, so I'll share a quick quote that connected with me today and hope to be back soon.

β€œIt's not enough to have lived.
We should be determined to live for something.
May I suggest that it be creating joy for others,
sharing what we have for the betterment of personkind,
bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely.”
― Leo Buscaglia

Sauce Source Sorcery

I'm brainstorming lately, I want to develop something. I'm thinking of getting saucy.

I've got ideas of what kind of sauce it will be, and will be playing around in the kitchen soon.

The parts I can almost visualise are the bottle, some semblance of a logo or theme, but I can already see the red hue of the label, at least I have the colour sorted.

I'm a visual thinker, so maybe I'll just end up playing around with creating a logo and a label, but I definitely hope to progress to actually getting my sauce on, the foodie in me demands satisfaction.

Uncertain Maiden

There won't be a bottle smashed on my flanks, no jubilation of any kind. Just some relief that things are underway after far too much time spent contemplating.

This begins as an effort to go back to what I enjoyed years ago, coupled with a drive to create. I feel like I stopped learning anything that fires my innards and gets the brain cogs turning over, and it's been the norm for a long time, too long...

With no planned route or steering influence, I aim to get somewhere feeling rekindled and fortified in my creative efforts, bonus points if anyone other than myself gets to take anything away from it.

Here's to fair winds and following seas.

P.S. I'm neither sailor nor boat, the nautical theme just felt right.
